Demetra (Demie) George is a First-Year Student at Emerson College and is from New York City. She is majoring in Political Communications and minoring in Pre-Law. Demie is very passionate about international relations and politics, she has worked for the Consulate General of Greece offices in both New York and Boston and has interned for a non-profit organization in Massachusetts conducting in-depth research on state house policies. At Emerson, she is involved with the Communications, Politics, and Law Association (CPLA) and WEBN-TV Boston, Emerson College’s student-run broadcast news organization. Demie has participated in Model United Nations programs since Middle School and was the president of her High School’s Model UN chapter. Demie is thrilled to be a part of the UNAGB Marketing team and to share UNAGB’s mission in the Boston area. In the future, Demie hopes to continue her work in international relations, politics, and non-profit work while also exploring the field of law.
