Jina Kim is a rising sophomore at Northeastern University studying Political Science and Economics. Originally from Stoughton, Massachusetts, she is passionate about public policy and civic engagement. One of her most meaningful experiences was working with her town’s substance abuse prevention department to present legislation on increased alcohol excise taxes at the Massachusetts State House. Through her work with the Summer Institute, Jina looks forward to helping students explore global issues, strengthen their leadership skills, and discover the impact they can make in their communities and beyond.
