Emma Swoap is from Williamstown, Massachusetts, and is a rising junior at Smith College, where she is double majoring in Government and Economics. Emma is passionate about public policy, economic development, and education. She is especially excited to work with middle and high school students, helping make complex global issues engaging, accessible, and interactive. Through the Summer Institute, Emma hopes to inspire students to think critically about the world around them and their role within it.
