A Curated Gathering

Designed as an intimate and highly curated experience, this year’s Luncheon will convene 100 influential leaders from Boston’s diplomatic, academic, corporate, and civic sectors. This curated setting provides an unparalleled opportunity for high-level networking, meaningful dialogue, and collaboration among those passionate about global cooperation and sustainability.

A Historic Venue

UN Day is held at the historic American Academy of Arts & Sciences, a distinguished institution with a rich legacy of fostering intellectual discourse and advancing knowledge since its founding in 1780. This iconic venue provides an inspiring backdrop for our discussions on global progress, reflecting the depth and importance of the conversations we aim to spark.

Honoring Leaders in Global Citizenship

UNAGB is proud to present the Global Citizenship Award, an honor that recognizes organizations whose leadership, values, and impact reflect the spirit and mission of the United Nations. UNAGB will recognize two outstanding awardees, one corporate and one nonprofit, to uplift and celebrate globally engaged organizations with strong ties to Greater Boston. Together, these honorees exemplify what it means to advance global cooperation, equity, and sustainable impact through action.

Corporate Honoree: Saint-Gobain

UNAGB is thrilled to recognize Saint-Gobain North America as the 2026 Corporate Global Citizenship Award recipient. Since its founding in 1665, Saint-Gobain North America has been committed to designing, manufacturing, and distributing materials and solutions that improve daily life and address the challenges of sustainable construction and resource efficiency. With a values-based approach that prioritizes partnership, Saint-Gobain North America exemplifies the impact of cross-sector collaboration in tackling the world’s most urgent environmental and societal challenges.

“Providing students with access to opportunities that will prepare them for lifelong success is a mission where Saint-Gobain and UNAGB are closely aligned – whether it is opening their eyes to careers in modern manufacturing or creating the next generation of diplomats,” said Todd DiNoia, vice president of innovation and R&D, Saint-Gobain. “We’re incredibly grateful and honored to be recognized with the UNAGB Global Citizenship Award for 2026. As the worldwide leaders in light and sustainable construction, we’re excited about this year’s focus on building and innovation for a sustainable future – something that we are thinking about and working on every day from our Innovation Hub, right here in Massachusetts.”

Nonprofit Honoree: Build Health International

UNAGB is also honored to recognize Build Health International as the 2026 Nonprofit Global Citizenship Award recipient. Build Health International’s exceptional leadership in advancing equitable health infrastructure and championing community-driven, sustainable solutions in low-resource settings is a model for international giving rooted in humility, collaboration, and systemic impact.

“We are honored to receive this recognition from UNAGB,” said Omar Hernandez, Executive Director of Build Health International. “At BHI, we believe that strong health systems are built through lasting and trusted partnerships with local communities. By combining technical expertise with local leadership, we help design and build hospitals, clinics, and lab spaces that strengthen public health systems, expand access to quality care, and equip our partners with the facilities and resources they need to serve patients for generations to come. This award recognizes the power of collaboration in building a more equitable and resilient future.”
