Friedelinde Johannes is a rising senior at Boston University majoring in International Relations. Originally from Queens, New York, she is passionate about global education, community engagement, and empowering young people to better understand the world around them. At Boston University, Friedelinde has served as a City Affairs Staffer in student government, supporting initiatives focused on student and community engagement. Through the Summer Institute, she hopes to help students explore how individuals and communities can contribute to positive global change.
