Eden Murphy is a sophomore at Williams College studying history and concentrating in public health. Eden was born in South Africa and was raised in Israel, Japan, and finally Seattle. Eden’s experiences abroad unlocked a passion for language and global cooperation. Eden is currently studying Spanish and hopes to continue with Arabic in the next few years. When Eden isn’t researching the history of the Jewish Diaspora or of the American Prison System, she is outside hiking, climbing, or skiing. Eden is motivated to protect outdoor spaces and promote the health of people who use them, she hopes to use history as a way to storytell and educate those on the importance of these global issues.
