BostUN75 Campaign

Join us in celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the United Nations in the Greater Boston community...and raising funds to support UNAGB's work during this critical time.

October 24 marks the 75th anniversary of the UN Charter’s entry into force in 1945. This anniversary, also known as United Nations Day, recognizes the UN’s leadership and important work to uphold peace and human rights. The United Nations has served the global community for the past 75 years and 2020 is no different. The devastating outcomes of COVID-19 and the UN’s response make it clear the need for continued international collaboration.

Whether teaching youth about pandemics and human rights via Model UN, or educating the public on antiracism and climate change, the UN mission and vision are essential to helping the global community recover.

Thus, UNAGB is launching the BostUN75 campaign and event¬†series to raise awareness about the important work of the United Nations and to raise funds to support UNAGB–a 501(c)(3) nonprofit–in programming that teaches the community to uphold human rights and learn to collaborate globally toward the Sustainable Development Goals.
