The Young Professionals (YP) of the United Nations Association of Greater Boston are made of a broad range of students and professionals who believe in and support the vision of the UN . Hosting regular events throughout the year we inform, inspire and mobilize Boston’s Professionals about the United Nations and the work they do throughout the world.
Our On-going Events
“Taste Of” - Several times a year, Young Professionals present the culture of a UN Member Nation at an ethnic restaurant in the Boston area. The night features authentic cuisine from the featured country and often includes special guests, trivia, videos, lectures and music.
Do you have a cuisine that you are especially interested in trying? Or do you have a speaker in mind that would enjoy speaking to a group of Young Professionals over a delicious meal? Then please email Ali and Jaqueline at

“UN On Tap” - This series of events brings together students, professionals and experts to discuss UN and International Issues from today’s headlines in a casual social atmosphere. Attendees are provided with topic articles prior to the event. The discussions typically take place at a local bar or pub and are led by a subject expert.
