Celebrate International Women’s Day with Impact Hub Boston and United Nations Association of Greater Boston.
Every March the international community celebrates the lives and contributions of women and those who identify as female.
In 2020, UNAGB and Impact Hub Boston are celebrating International Women’s Day with a special U.N. Perspective Series where we explore female leaders through the lens of “Women in Politics.” Ensuring women are represented in the political community is a key target in Sustainable Development Goal 5: Gender Equality.
The event will begin with a special screening of “When Women Lead,” followed by a panel discussion with female leaders in both local politics and international diplomacy. Together we will explore what it takes for women to lead policy changes, cross-cultural negotiations, and more.
