2019 Summer Institute in Global Leadership: Advanced Negotiation and Chair Training

This advanced institute brings together older students who are passionate about global issues and aspire to be in leadership roles that demand advanced communication skills.

This week, students will:

– Learn about negotiation styles and techniques facilitated by experienced members of The Bridgeway Group. The week will culminate in a multilateral negotiation.
– Learn skills to chair Model UN simulations. Students will have the opportunity to use their skills to run simulations throughout the week at the Summer Institute in Global Leadership: Human Rights program happening next door.

Additionally, students who complete the Summer Institute in Global Leadership: Advanced Negotiation and Chair Training will receive special invitations to chair UNAGB’s interscholastic conferences throughout the year.

Note: This week is appropriate for students who are passionate about global issues and learning key skills for communication and leadership. It is only open to students entering grades 11 and 12. Prior Model UN experience is required for this program.
