2018 Summer Institute in Global Leadership: Advanced Negotiation
Advanced Institutes bring together older students who are passionate about global issues and aspire to be in leadership roles that demand advanced communication skills.
This week, students will learn about negotiation styles and techniques facilitated by experienced members of The Bridgeway Group. No-prep Model UN simulations will take place throughout the week as a medium for practicing new skills. The week will culminate in a multilateral negotiation.
Students involved in Student Government, human rights related clubs (UNICEF, Amnesty International), Honor Societies, simulation or public speaking programs (Model UN, Model Congress, Mock Trial, debate, speech, theatre), or in other leadership roles (sports team captains, peer mentoring programs) are especially encouraged to attend.
Note: This week is appropriate for students who are passionate about global issues and learning key skills for communication and leadership. It is only open to students entering grades 11 and 12. No Model UN experience is required.

Develop negotiation skills and apply them to current real-world topics
