Wanru Huang

Wanru is from China and is a rising junior studying Sociology at Boston University. She participated in Model UN in high school, and that’s when she realized that she enjoys researching global issues a lot, such as tensions between countries. She also found the process of learning about a country’s history fascinating. Contributing to reducing inequalities is her passion as well. She hopes that everyone can have easy access to education and justice. She’s here at UNAGB because she has always believed in the power of education in transforming the world. She believes that the more people that are educated to become aware of the issues in the world, the more are available to solve the problems, and hence the faster we can make a change. She wants to be a person that gives help to others.
