Samuel Cheever is from Boston, Massachusetts and is a rising senior at Boston Latin School. He has participated in Tufts’ Inquiry program, a program which seeks to engage high school students in international issues, since the eighth grade. He is a leader in his school’s environmental club, the Boston Latin School Youth Climate Action Network, and has helped organize an annual summit for local middle and high school students for the past three years. Inspired by these interscholastic gatherings, he has engaged in college level courses on wars, states and human rights. Samuel is passionate about social justice, with a specific focus on climate change, refugees and their connections. He hopes to study human rights and global issues in college, and is excited to be able to engage students in such topics with the UNAGB’s programs.
