Narges Mohammad Mahdi

Narges is from Kabul, Afghanistan and a second year MA student at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Her concentrations are International Security Studies and International Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. She has previously worked at Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service within the Outreach Department mainly advocating on behalf of refugee and migrant rights on the Hill. She is passionate about social justice, immigration reform, and human rights. Being a native of Afghanistan, Narges aspires to work with international organizations focusing mainly on mediation and negotiation processes that would result in peace and reconciliation within a country. She is excited to be part of the UNAGB Education Department Internship Program to be able to equip young students in tackling global issues. Outside of global affairs, Narges loves coffee, puppies, mountains, and reading good books.
