Marina Belfiore

Marina is from San Francisco, California and is now a senior at Boston College. She is majoring in International Studies with a minor in French. She spent the spring semester of 2023 studying abroad in Paris, France where she improved her French language skills and gained an incredible understanding of different cultures and politics across Europe. This experience inspired her to continue her studies of international relations between foreign countries and governments, as well as gave her a broader perspective of social issues and cultures abroad as they relate to problems in the United States. Marina is incredibly passionate about social justice issues, including economic, climate, and racial equity around the world. She has already begun to get involved with advocacy for climate justice through her previous internship with Environment America last year, which increased her understanding and passion for climate resiliency. Marina is excited to continue working towards positive change and community education and outreach with UNAGB this summer, and aspires to continue advocating for equitable and just policy changes in the U.S. and abroad through her future career.
