Margherita Marras

Margherita is a rising sophomore at Boston University studying International Relations, with a focus on international systems and world order. She is originally from Milan, Italy but moved to New York City when she was seven years old. Margherita has always been raised in international environments which sparked her interest in global governance and diplomacy. She carried this interest to college, whereas participated in several Model UN conferences, and produces a podcast named “In Relation To” which delves into prominent global issues weekly. Throughout her high school career, Margherita partook in various teaching initiatives, partnering with Funding Bright Futures and the Partnership Program for Education. Through this, Margherita developed a strong love for teaching, which she is excited to bridge with her passion for international relations this summer. In the future, Margherita hopes to work in the realm of international humanitarian law, as well as continue teaching.
