Colin McAndrew

Colin McAndrew is from Walpole, Massachusetts and is a freshman at Northeastern University. He has an interdisciplinary major in Political Science and International Affairs, a minor in Environmental Studies, and a concentration in Law and Legal Studies. Colin spent his first semester abroad through the NUin Program in London, England, and had the opportunity to visit the other countries of Portugal, Spain, France, and Switzerland. While in London, Colin sat at  the New College of the Humanities as the Politics and International Relations Student Representative. In this seat, Colin was able to deeply immerse himself in not only the culture of London, but in the political realm at a very interesting time; with the passing of Queen Elizabeth, transitions through multiple Prime Ministers, and many protests over differing topics, with environmental neglect and the declining economy being frontrunners. Colin is very excited to be able to provide service for the United Nations Association of Greater Boston and help introduce members of the city’s youth community to the great variety of today’s global issues.
