Carolina is from Managua, Nicaragua and is a senior at Bentley University. She is majoring in Managerial Economics with a Concentration in International Business. During the spring semester of 2019, she traveled the world on Semester at Sea, where she studied intercultural communications, global studies, and international welfare and development. Since 2014, Carolina has been working with the One Laptop per Child program in Nicaragua, in efforts to innovate schools and communities in Central America. She is passionate about education, women’s rights, and international affairs. In the future, Carolina aspires to be a social entrepreneur that contributes to economic growth and combats social issues in Latin America.
