Anika is from Seattle, Washington and is in her first year at Northeastern University. She is currently working towards
earning a BA in International Relations and Sociology and spent her first semester in Berlin, Germany as part of a
semester abroad program. Her interest in IR began in 2021 when she spent her summer studying International Affairs in
Oxford, UK at Oxford University’s Pembroke College. She participated in Model UN in high school and is currently a
member of the United Nations Association at Northeastern. Anika’s passion for gender equality and environmental
activism has led her to become interested in joining the Peace Corps after graduation and someday working for the
United Nations. As a result, she is eager to be working with the UNAGB Program this semester and excited to delve
further into various global events and issues.
