Alex is a passionate global citizen who joined UNAGB in 2019 as an Education Program Manager before transitioning to his current role as the Director of Development & Community Outreach in 2021.  His positive experiences participating in Model UN in high school and university led to him study conflict transformation and international law in the former Yugoslavia and ultimately join the Peace Corps in 2016.  While serving as an English Education Specialist and Community Development Volunteer in Moldova, he taught 10th-12th grade English, and worked in grassroots community development, youth literacy, and anti-human trafficking campaigns.  Prior to joining UNAGB, Alex worked in State Department compliance at EF Education First, overseeing project development and program quality for high school exchange students from 15 countries across Europe and Asia. Alex received his B.A. in Political Science from Gordon College where he focused his studies on international development and conflict resolution. He speaks English, Spanish, and Romanian.
