The UN Peace Bowl
Each year, we present our Leadership Award recipients with a UN Peace Bowl. In 1999, former US President Bill Clinton commissioned Master Potter Miranda Thomas of Vermont to make the first of these exquisite handmade porcelain Peace Bowls for Pope John Paul II as a personal gift. The Peace Bowl has also been presented to former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and current UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
