Making Model UN Part of the Teachers’ Tool Kit
“MUN has really changed the way I teach. I redesigned my 6th grade course after starting MUN with my older students. My MUN simulation unit is the culmination of my 6th grade course.
The skills necessary to be an excellent Model UN delegate are all the skills needed in the classroom! Other teachers have thanked me for how MUN has strengthened kids’ negotiation, public speaking, and research skills have improved! Thank you!”
–Kate Lints, Excel Academy

UNA-GB is pleased to be able to offer a variety of teacher workshops that support student learning in the Model UN program. If you are new to Model UN, we can help demystify it for you. If you are an experienced Model UN teacher, we offer opportunities to deepen your own knowledge of international affairs and new activities to bring back to your classroom.
All workshops take place at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Ten Professional Development Points are available upon completion of a one day workshop and submission of a final implementation report.
