We provide a unique forum for Young Professionals for International Cooperation to engage in discussion about current international issues and foster an understanding of the importance of multilateralism in world affairs. YPIC meets regularly for discussions and social events -- please see our Google calendar for updated event information..
Young Professionals for International Cooperation (YPIC) is a diverse group of individuals who share a passion for international affairs and an interest in the work of the United Nations (meet our steering committee here--all young professionals themselves). We organize a variety of events throughout the year in order to create an active dialogue and connect local and global issues. We meet in both formal settings for lectures and talks on current issues as well as for informal networking at local restaurants and cafes.
YPIC members are typically between the ages of 21-40, and are from the fields of business, law, government, nonprofit, and the arts. YPIC provides an exciting opportunity to interact with like-minded individuals and gives young professionals from all walks of life a unique forum in which to learn more about current international issues, the United Nations, and the work of the UN Association.
For more information about what we are up to, check out our blog at ypicboston.blogspot.com and our Facebook page! To receive YPIC event announcements and updates, please send an email to YPIC@unagb.org with your contact information.
YPIC of Greater Boston is a Program of UNA-GB. Membership is open to all UNA-GB members. Many YPIC members are interested in developing international careers. For an excellent international careers resource, visit UNA-National Capital Area's site. Click here.
